💵 What fees might I be charged?
We keep our pricing fair and transparent. Below is a list of possible fees you could encounter during your rental:
- Late Fees: $15 after 5 days late, $20 after 15 days
- Returned Payment: $25 (includes bank fees and admin time)
- Returned Mail: $10 if we receive returned mail and haven’t been notified of your new address
- Locking Your Unit for You: $10 plus cost of lock if we need to secure it for you
- Daily Unlocking Reminder Fee: $5 per day if your unit remains unlocked after 7-day notice
- Removing Your Lock (with permission): $45
- Overlock or Chain Fee: $5 per item locked or booted due to non-payment
- Statutory Notice of Lien: $15 per certified notice
- Auction Listing Fee: $25 per public auction advertisement
- Foreclosure Sale Processing Fee: $75
- Eviction Court Processing: $250 (excludes legal fees or court costs)
- Trash or Cleaning Service: $25/hour if we must clean up after you
- Collection Agency Fees: All fees incurred if your account is sent to collections
- Attorney Fees & Court Costs: If required for legal disputes or evictions
- Interest on Unpaid Amounts: 18% annually, compounded yearly
- Holdover Fee: 125% of your rent if you don’t vacate after notice
Most tenants never see these fees — just pay on time, keep your info updated, and leave your unit clean when moving out!
